A Personal Relationship with God . . .
Eternal Salvation (KJV)
What was man's condition:
Romans 5:12, "Wherefore as by one man's sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned;"
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
We were disconnected from God, but now we, through Jesus Christ, "the perfect sacrifice", have been made partakers of God's gift of Salvation. He that saith he hath no sin, deceives himself and the truth is no in him.
John 1:8.
What did God do for our Salvation?
1. He Loved the world. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world..."
2. He was merciful. Romans 11:32, "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all."
3. He gave his Son. Romans 5:8-11, "But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only so, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."
What did Jesus do four our Salvation?
1. Voluntarily gave himself for us. Galations 1:4, "Who gave himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father."
2. "Christ died as the end of sacrifice." Hebrews 7:27 states the above in that, "He offered Himself."
3. He rose after death to show us the gift of eternal life. 1 Corinthians 15:4, "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." 2 Corinthians 5:15, "And that he died for all, ... and rose again."

What is man suppose to do?
1. Hear the gospel. Acts 7:37, "...A prophet shall God raise up unto you ... Him (Christ) shall you hear." Faith cometh by hearing.
2. Believe. Acts 16:31, "...Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved,..."
3. Repent. Luke 13:3, "...except ye repent, ye should all likewise perish."
4. Confess. Romans 10:9-11, "For with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. And believe in your heart that God hath raised Him."
5. Be baptized. Acts 2:38, "...Repent and be baptized..." Colossians 2:12, "Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith..." [Also see Romans 6:4]
6. Add to your Christian graces. 2 Peter 1:5-7, "...add to your faith, virtue; and to knowledge,"
Are we allowed to change?
YES!! The previous person shall be made as new. Romans 6:4, "...walk in newness of life."

A PLACE FOR CHRISTIANS TO BELONG...
The church is a school for learning, it teaches us how God wants us to direct our lives and heal each other as a whole. We are not perfect and God wants us to support each other during our trials. You will grow and mature in your relationship with God by learning the Bible, learning from each other and being accountable to each other.
A church family will help you from sliding into temptation. We are all sinners and can be tempted. The church family is there to support its brothers and sisters. Having a church family is showing the world you are a genuine believer. It is your witness to the world.
